C-47 PLANS TO JOIN CLO ACTION GROUP ON WEDNESDAY

The Board of C-47 has called on its members to join the protesting group of the CLO on Wednesday. Members have been advised to gather at the SPA centrum at 9 am for instructions. We gather from reports that the VSB had also met with its members and they too are expected to join the actions. Today all government workers have been told to gather at the CLO office at 10 am. Robby Naarendorp, secretary of C-47 is reported to have said that all actions would cede if the government admitted to there being a crisis. He added that if the government would grant the demands of price stability, monetary stability, a better incometax system, not only the CLO workers would profit from it but the whole nation would be better off.He added that everyone would profit if the X-Change rates for foreign currency would stop fluctuating. Chairman Fred Derby  was out of the country and could not attend the meeting. Adama said that the action will be peaceful. The group does not only want a wage increase but also guarantees. He explained that if this policy of the government continues businesses are going to close down and jobs will be lost. The SPA has declared solidarity with the protesting groups. In a press report sent out by SPA is stated that the actions that are taking place  at present are due to the disastrous policy of the government in all areas. The X-change rates for foreign currency that the government just cannot control, the rising prices for goods and services are all extra pressures on the shoulders of the people. The SPA , a social-democratic party would like to ask the government to try and find a solution for this problem with the union members as soon as possible.
